TREASURE BOX

The 'treasure box' is an idea that came from a narrative conversation with
a young woman who had had a severe trauma. The experience had isolated
her from others from whom she felt separate.
In a conversation about the members of her 'club of life' - those who would support
her and the initiatives she is taking to reduce the effects of trauma, she named
her grandmother, who called her her 'treasure box'.

This brought tears as she remembered the preciousness of her life in the eyes of
her grandmother.
