ABOUT THE THERAPIST
Deidre Ikin has over 20 years experience working in the health, therapy and community work professions. She is an experienced presenter and workshop facilitator, who combines theroretical knowledge with experience and practical examples from her work with others. She utilises various adult learning methods with the hope that workshops are informative and interesting.
She completed the intensive International Training Program in Narrative Therapy at the Dulwich Centre, Australia.
This period of rigorous study and application of narrative practices to her work resulted in significant outcomes for those who consult her about their problems and concerns. In this way, those she works with have contributed significantly to her knowledges and understandings of ways of working and power operations in the therapeutic context.
She is working in the Blue Mountains, 2 hours west of Sydney, NSW to share the skills and knowledge gained from her experience of working with narrative practices with others.
